From over 20 years in footwear to reimagining comfort from the ground up.
We didn’t start from zero — we started from twenty years of knowing feet.
Hywell was born from HEVA, a global footwear manufacturer with over two decades of experience.
From FILA to Walmart, HEVA has crafted shoes for millions of people worldwide.
Through years of making shoes, one truth became clear — no one understands the needs of your feet better than we do.
Hywell is not just another brand. It’s the natural extension of our pursuit of comfort, support, and endurance.

In 2023, we brought our footwear expertise to socks.
Our founder, BOB, a lifelong runner and athlete, inspired our first collection — cushioned socks made for running, gym training, and court play.
Each design started with one purpose: to deliver all-day comfort, stability, and breathability for people in motion.
Global experience. Core craftsmanship.
Hywell is registered in the UK, with an operations office in New York, and design development led by our core product team across China, Vietnam, and Indonesia — the same regions where HEVA earned its name.
Every pair of Hywell socks is designed, tested, and fine-tuned internally by the same experts who spent decades building footwear comfort.
We don’t outsource design. We build from within — with precision, testing, and real-world feedback in every prototype.
A letter that changed everything.
One day, we received a letter from a chef.
He stood more than ten hours a day in a hot kitchen, suffering blisters and fungal infections from cheap socks.
He tried our athletic socks — better, but not perfect.
That’s when we realized: we were designing for athletes, but we’d forgotten the hardest-working people of all — workers.
Together with him, we started over.
We studied Darn Tough and Smartwool, built over 20 prototypes, and refined our final formula:
Merino wool, MaxiCush™ padding, arch support, and compression — engineered for real endurance.
We may be new to socks, but not to feet.
