This 10-year warranty currently applies only to Merino Wool Boot Socks.

If you purchased a different style, please refer to our standard 30-day return and refund policy.

Covered Situations

Our warranty is designed to cover non-human damages that may occur under normal wear and proper care, ensuring you always have a comfortable wearing experience.

It mainly includes the following situations:

  • Premature wear: high-friction areas such as the heel or toe developing holes or thinning too quickly.
  • Structural damage: broken reinforcement yarns or open seams that affect durability.
  • Loss of elasticity: cuffs or leg sections that become loose and no longer stay in place.
  • Material issues: abnormal shrinkage, deformation, or fiber breakage.
Situations Not Covered by Warranty

Improper Washing

We recommend washing with warm water and air-drying naturally.

If your socks shrink, fade, or deform because of hot water, bleach, or tumble drying — unfortunately, that’s not something our warranty can cover.

Lost or Missing Socks

Ever notice how socks seem to disappear over time?

If one goes missing in the washer, gets blown away on a camping trip, or somehow vanishes at home — we totally get it, but we can’t replace lost socks.

Pet Damage

If your dog or cat decides that Hywell socks make the perfect chew toy, we can’t blame them — but that doesn’t fall under our warranty.

Non-Official Purchases

Our products are currently sold only through our official website and authorized partners.

If your order wasn’t from an official source, we can’t verify its origin or quality, so it won’t be eligible for warranty service.

Size

Feet vary person to person, and our socks are designed to a standard last. If a pair feels too big or too small after wear, this is considered a personal fit preference and isn’t covered by the 10-Year Warranty. Please refer to our size chart and your usual buying habits before ordering.

How many times can I claim a warranty?

Each pair of socks is eligible for one warranty claim under our 10-Year Warranty Program.

Does normal wear really count as warranty coverage?

Yes — that’s exactly our promise.

The Hywell 10-Year Warranty covers normal wear, because we believe good socks should stand the test of time and hard work.

Can I apply if the damage is small?

Absolutely. As long as the damage happened under normal use or care, it’s covered.

Just send us a few clear photos — our team will review and confirm it for you.

What information do I need to provide?

Please keep your order number, name, email, and shipping address handy — we’ll use this information to verify your purchase and process your replacement or credit.

Can I exchange for a different style or color?

Our warranty provides a voucher of equal value, which you can use to purchase any new pair — in any style or color you like.

What if I purchased from another site or store?

Unfortunately, we currently only provide warranty service for products purchased directly from hywellstore.com.

We’re unable to verify the authenticity or purchase record of products from third-party sellers.

Can I apply from outside the country?

Yes, we accept warranty claims from anywhere in the world.

Just note that return shipping costs need to be covered by the sender.
